There, Danny told me that he was stopped at a roadblock that morning, and relieved of over RM100 by the police. He said he was taking his driver's license out when the police saw his money inside his wallet and asked that he handed over his wallet. The police then removed all the money inside before returning the wallet to him.
Danny asked the police what he's going to do if he needs to buy petrol on the way. The police ignored his question and just waved him away, saying "pergi, pergi".
This is outrageous. Isn't the police supposed to protect the civilians? Instead, the police is robbing from the very people they were sworn to protect. Who is going to protect us from the police then?
